Personal Data & Privacy Policy
As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Swedish law, replacing the Personal Data Act (PuL). This legislation protects the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals.
What is personal data?
Personal data includes all information about an individual that can be used directly or indirectly to identify them, such as name, photos, contact details, and other information. Certain types of data are considered extra sensitive and are granted special protection.
Mindpark Group AB and all of Mindpark's subsidiaries established the following privacy policy on February 18, 2020, to ensure you are informed about how we handle your data. If anything is unclear or difficult to understand, you are more than welcome to contact us.

Parties and responsibility for the processing of your personal data
Mindpark Group AB (hereinafter referred to as Mindpark) is the data controller for the processing of personal data carried out within the scope of the company's operations.
Why do we process your personal data?
In order for Mindpark to conduct its operations, personal data is processed for various purposes related to the business. Mindpark processes personal data for:
Distribution of newsletters
We share updates and news about what’s happening at Mindpark with both our previous customers and those who have personally signed up for our newsletter. We do this to keep you informed about our community and activities. You can choose to unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link provided in each newsletter. (Contract/Consent)
Information to our coworkers
We send information to our tenants and membership holders to keep them updated on routines, events, and current happenings. (Contract)
Event registrations
In connection with event registrations, we collect names and email addresses. This is done so that we can communicate with attendees before, during, and after the event. (Legitimate Interest)
Key receipts
When you, as a tenant or an employee of a tenant, receive a key or access tag, you sign a key receipt containing: name, personal identity number, company, phone number, and email address. We use this information to contact you regarding matters related to our operations. This also serves as a security measure for our tenants, ensuring we know who has access to our shared areas. The use of access tags is recorded in our entry systems. (Contract)
Mail and package handling
We receive packages on behalf of our tenants. In connection with this, an email is sent to notify the recipient that the package has been received. (Contract)
Email correspondence
We store our email correspondence with customers, partners, and other stakeholders for the purpose of administering our business relationships.
Bookings and Reservations
We store bookings in our system for the purpose of generating statistics and tracking trends. (Legitimate Interest)
Accounting and Financial Records
According to the Swedish Accounting Act, certain information must be stored for 7 years. We comply with this legislation. (Legal Obligation)
Payment solutions
In connection with payments, we collect payment information (e.g., card number, transaction time, and cardholder name). (Contract)
Photographs and media
To create marketing material for both printed and digital channels, we frequently take photos within our premises. If you do not wish to appear in photos, you are always welcome to contact us. info@mindpark.se.
Who do we share your personal data with?
Mindpark never sells your personal data or shares it with third parties without your permission. All employees are informed of this policy and have signed confidentiality agreements as part of their employment contracts, ensuring that they do not disclose personal data. How long do we store your personal data?
Mindpark conducts an annual assessment to determine if the purpose for processing your personal data remains valid. If the purpose is no longer applicable, the data will be deleted.
What are your rights?
As a Mindpark customer, you have several rights that you should be aware of.
You have the right to obtain a record extract regarding the company’s processing of your personal data. Upon request, Mindpark shall provide you with a copy of the personal data undergoing processing.
You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, and the right to restrict the processing of your personal data until it has been updated.
You also have the right to erasure (the 'right to be forgotten'):
– If the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
– If the processing is based on your consent and you withdraw that consent.
– If the data is processed for direct marketing purposes and you object to your data being processed.
– If you object to the processing of personal data carried out in the exercise of official authority or based on a legitimate interest, and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests.
– If the personal data has been processed unlawfully.
– If erasure is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
You may exercise your rights at any time by requesting access to, and the rectification or erasure of, your personal data, as well as requesting the restriction of processing or objecting to it. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the company’s processing of your personal data with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection www.datainspektionen.se.
