Anna-Karin Bergman – FoU Helsingborg
Where can we find Anna-Karin? In the first office on the right side in the purple section.
Curiosity? She love sailing and this year she will compete in the J/24 World Championship as a member of the only Swedish female crew together with four other women.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
Cashier at ICA – my grandmother was my big idol when I was a kid and she worked as a cashier, so I wanted to work at ICA like her.
What’s your current assignment and how did you end up there?
Research- and Development Manager at Helsingborgs stad – I have climbed the very loooong academic ladder and finally I landed this dream job.
Your role in the company? Describe the company and your service.
My responsibility is to, strategically and operationally, operate research- and development initiatives for Helsingborg stad. Mainly with focus on social service, school and environment issues that are based on academic and practical operations.
If you could go back in time to ten years ago, what advice would you give your younger self?
1) Keep following you passion; and
2) Relax, it will all work out in the end
What do you think you’re doing in 5 years? Where do you want your business to be in 5 years?
I’m still a Research- and Development Manager at Helsingborg Stad. The unit will be bigger and I will be working with establishing subunits that are focusing on different kinds of operations – social innovation, method development etc.
Why did you wan’t to be a part of the Mindpark community?
Because it gives inspiration and new perspective that is good for our operation.
