Cecilia Lundgren – Cecilia Lundgren AB
Where can we find Cecilia? She has the first office in the white section.
Curiosity? She loves sailing and last year she competed in the J/24 European Championship as a member of the only Swedish female crew together with Anna-Karin Bergman, FoU and four other women.
What was your dream job when you were a child?
My dream when I was a child was to become an artist!
What’s your current assignment and how did you end up there?
My current assignment is to illustrate garments for a fashion company based in London. I am also doing illustrations for a new site on behalf of a fragrance retailer, also based in London.
I started to work as an illustrator while studying product design. Meantime I was studying I realized that I was enjoying the sketching process the most and selling illustrations was covering up the expenses of my design prototypes. One day I asked myself, why not just focus on sketching and illustrating instead of designing furniture and products? That is why I ended up working as an illustrator.
Your role in the company? Describe the company and your service.
I am a freelance illustrator working worldwide.
What would you give for advice to yourself, that you learned through your entrepreneurial journey, if you’d started the company today instead?
I don’t have any advice to myself. Doing mistakes is a part of the entrepreneurial journey, and I learn all the time.
What do you think you’re doing in 5 years? Where do you want your business to be in 5 years?
I am working in a competitive business affected by trends, so my only wish is that I am doing the same as today and getting many assignments.
Why did you wan’t to be a part of the Mindpark community?
Most of my jobs I am doing alone and are being sent to clients abroad. To be a part of Mindpark community gives me the possibility to meet people, which gives me creativity and inspiration.
Do you need help with anything at the moment? Something that other companies at Mindpark can help you with.
I am very thankful for the help I have got from other companies at Mindpark, but at the moment everything runs smoothly.
